Kotak Mahindra Bank RD Calculator

Calculate Kotak Mahindra Bank recurring deposit maturity using the bank's public RD tenor rules and the linked resident FD rate card below ₹1 crore.

Why does this page reuse the resident FD card for RD?

Because Kotak's own RD calculator page says the rates shown there are those applicable for resident fixed deposits below ₹1 crore. This calculator follows that published statement instead of inventing a second hidden rate source.

Why does the tenor move in 3-month steps?

Because the Kotak RD calculator page says the minimum tenure is 6 months and then in multiples of 3 months up to 10 years. The page therefore follows those public tenor steps exactly.

What source did this page use for the actual rates?

The current rates use Kotak's public domestic FD card below ₹3 crore, effective from 23 September 2026, and the RD calculator's statement that resident FD rates below ₹1 crore apply. Earlier booking dates use the retained 10 June 2026 card.

Does this include missed-instalment penalties?

No. It prices the clean maturity path only. Operational penalties and product caps belong to the bank's own terms and are not silently mixed into the maturity amount here.

Why is this more defensible than a generic RD page?

Because the generic RD recurrence is already known. The bank-specific part is the published tenor rule and the dated card rate the bank says to use. That is what this page makes explicit.
