Calculate Axis Bank fixed deposit maturity from the published Axis tenure bands and senior-citizen rate table.
Why is the Axis source a PDF and not a plain web table?
Because that is how Axis currently publishes the less-than-₹3 crore domestic FD card. The calculator cites the PDF directly and stores the dated bands from it rather than paraphrasing them from memory.
Why does this page ask for exact days or months?
Because Axis mixes short day bands with longer month bands. A deposit one day either side of a boundary can move to another rate, so the input has to stay that precise.
Why is one year not just 12 months here?
Because Axis publishes a special band from 1 year to 1 year 10 days before moving onward. This calculator follows the published card exactly instead of smoothing that boundary away.
Does this include payout options or premature closure?
No. This is the cumulative FD path under the selected opening rate. Payout choices and premature closure rules affect what the depositor actually receives and belong to a different model.
Why does the senior-citizen premium change across banks?
Because each bank publishes its own card. This page uses Axis Bank's actual senior-citizen numbers rather than assuming a flat markup copied from somewhere else.
