Calculate HDFC Bank fixed deposit maturity with the published HDFC tenure band selected from your exact days or months and customer type.
Why does this page ask for exact days or exact months?
Because HDFC's published table uses both. Short deposits move by day. Longer ones move by calendar months, and some exact month points are their own bands. The page therefore keeps the tenure in those units instead of reducing everything to a rough year count.
Why is the booking date part of the answer?
Because the rates are versioned. HDFC says the domestic FD table used here is applicable from 19 August 2026. The booking date tells the calculator whether that dated table is even available for your deposit.
Why does the senior-citizen premium change across bands?
Because HDFC publishes it band by band rather than as one flat add-on. Most bands add 0.50%, but some longer bands add more. The calculator therefore stores the published senior number itself, not a guessed markup.
Does this include bulk or non-withdrawable deposits?
No. This page uses the less-than-₹3 crore domestic fixed-deposit table only. Bulk and non-withdrawable products are separate rate pages with different bands.
Does this model premature closure or payout FD?
No. This is the cumulative fixed-deposit path at the opening rate. Premature closure and payout deposits follow different rules and can land on a lower effective return.
