See the published complaint, grievance, rectification, ombudsman and appeal windows after a check says a figure looks short. Covers gratuity, cards, PF, tax and insurance.
Why does the provident-fund row refuse to quote the tribunal appeal window?
Because the Act page we could read does not give the number. Section 7-I(2) sends the time to prescribed rules, and those rules were not found from this box. The same Act text also points at an employer-side deposit requirement in section 7-O, which is why this page stops at the reader-facing grievance route it could source cleanly.
Why does the income-tax row show two clocks?
Because rectification and first appeal are different remedies and the department publishes both. CPC rectification runs to four years from the end of the financial year of the order or intimation. The first appeal under section 249(2) is thirty days from service of the order or notice of demand.
Why does the insurance row ask whether the insurer replied?
Because the one-year Ombudsman window starts from different events. If the insurer or broker stayed silent, the year runs from one month after your complaint. If they rejected it or gave a response you are not satisfied with, the year runs from that reply instead.
Why does a row sometimes say "Not stated here" instead of a date?
Because a forum can be sourceable before its exact day count is. The page will not invent a number from a summary or a blog just to keep a table rectangular. It names the forum and the rule it did read, and leaves the date blank when that number was not in the source text it could open.
