Kisan Credit Card Limit Calculator

Estimate the Kisan Credit Card limit from scale of finance, cultivated area, allowances, insurance, and the RBI step-up rule for later years.

Where do I find my real scale of finance?

From the scale-of-finance book or circular used in your state and district. It is usually published through the State Level Bankers Committee, the state cooperative bank, or the district technical committee. Use the number for your exact crop and irrigation type, then replace the example default here.

Why is the default from Tamil Nadu only?

Because there is no single national scale-of-finance table. The official figures are local. This page ships with one clearly sourced reference value so the formula is usable, but it labels that value as an example and expects you to overwrite it with your own district figure.

What is the 10% and 20% addition for?

The RBI directions separate them. The 10% addition covers post-harvest costs and household consumption. The 20% addition covers maintenance of farm assets and related support services such as soil testing, weather advice, digital tools, and similar working-capital needs.

Why does the limit grow in later years?

Because the KCC framework applies a 10% step-up for cost escalation and higher scale of finance in later seasons. The sanctioned ceiling is therefore higher in year six than in year one, even before any separate investment credit is added.

Does this guarantee my bank will sanction this exact amount?

No. This is the official build-up, not a promise from a bank. The bank still checks your district figure, land records, cropping pattern, insurance, existing borrowings, and any investment proposal before it sanctions or renews the card.
